	Becky Wegner

To assist in your consulting needs Mountain High's Colorado Springs Branch has staff with over 50 years of combined experience in arboriculture and forestry in Colorado. Becky Wegner is a Registered Consulting Arborist with the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA). Becky and Al Wegner are both degreed foresters and ISA Certified Arborists with additional certifications in municipal and tree worker areas. We regularly work with individual homeowners, property managers, associations, developers and communities.

Diagnosis

Mountain High can help with a simple insect or disease identification or get "down and dirty" with a soil analysis or root excavation to help you understand what might be affecting your trees. We have an understanding of tree types, physiology and structure and the environment in which they grow to better diagnose and recommend the appropriate treatment.

Plant Appraisal

Plants have value individually and as part of the landscape in which they are growing. Whether you need the value of trees within an entire community, a key tree in your landscape or the value of damage to a tree hit by a vehicle or damaged by fire, Mountain High can provide this assistance. Staff use industry standards and guidelines developed by the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers to evaluate, determine approach and put together a professional report for your insurance or personal needs.

Inventories

Tree inventories and assessments can be useful when redeveloping a property or putting together a management plan for a community. Understanding the types, sizes, conditions and needs of the trees on your property is a tool to help you manage and budget for their care and maintenance. We have the expertise to perform simple or complex inventories of the plants on your property.

Tree Risk (Hazard) Evaluation

Tree structure, species, location and decay are all factors in evaluating trees for risk. We follow industry guidelines and have the expertise to help you with decisions about the safety of an individual tree or community of trees. We work with starting with a needs analysis, focusing on trees and areas to be evaluated and providing the information that you need to budget and make decisions about managing the risk of the trees on your property or in your community.

Forest Management / Fire Mitigation

We use forestry techniques to inspect and inventory your property to create long-term treatments and recommendations for a healthier forest. We follow federal, state, county and city requirements to provide Forest Agricultural Management Plans and Fire Mitigation Plans for your property or development.
