Cambistat - Soil Modification

Cambistat

Cambistat is scientifically proven to improve the health of trees.

Size Maintenance

Research shows that Cambistat gently slows the growth of trees, allowing the tree to redirect some of its energy from canopy growth to defense chemicals, fibrous root production, and other uses. The resulting benefit of the reallocation of energy makes your tree healthier and more durable.

Soil Modification

What is Soil Modification?

When trees struggle, we must get to the root of the problem.

Our process, known as Soil Modification, allows us to truly change soil characteristics and create conditions that are more forest-like.

Our patented tool, known as a AirSpade® directs a 1300 MPH supersonic blasts of air through specially designed nozzles that target only the porous materials of the soil without damaging roots or underground utilities.

Soil Modification includes:

  • Loosening the hard-packed soil.
  • Incorporating organic matter; such as compost.
  • Adding appropriate fertilizer and other nutrients.
  • Adding mycorrhizae and other biological root stimulation soil organisms.

What are the uses of Soil Modification?
  • Where soil is compacted.
  • Construction sites and where roots are damaged.
  • With transplanted trees.
  • With tress in poorly drained soils.
  • When trees are showing premature decline.
  • With chlorotic or nutrient deficient trees.

What are the benefits of Soil Modification?
  • A vastly improved soil environment increases root development and thus overall plant health.
  • Drought stress is reduced.
  • An increase in the production and storage of sugars promotes the vigor of the tree and improves leaf color and size.
  • Recovery time from insect and disease damage is decreased.
