Mulching Makes the Difference
Mulching is one of the best things you can do for your trees, plants, and shrubs. Seasonal mulching decreases evaporation rates by as much as 35 percent, which makes for efficient water use. Mulching also suppresses weed growth which limits competition for necessary nutrients and moisture.
Importantly, a healthy layer of mulch insulates your plants and protects their roots from the kind of extreme temperature shifts we experience here in Colorado. But the cycle doesn’t stop there: as mulch breaks down, it becomes nutritious organic matter, which promotes future healthy growth. Mulch adds year-round color, texture and interest to your landscape as well. At Mountain high, we’re proud to say that we recycle 100 percent of our tree debris to create our own Supreme Organic Mulch™ .
A blend of mixed woods with uniform consistencies of 1/16″-2″.
Our Natural Mulch with an additional screening to remove most of the smaller particles. Great for use over weed fabric.
Our finest-textured mulch, rich in organic material and ideal for gardens, containers and annual flower beds. Natural Fines can be turned into the ground each year, improving texture and increasing the organic material in your soil.
